TURBT is a procedure for the simultaneous diagnosis and treatment of early-stage bladder cancer. Initials represent transurethral resection of bladder tumors. This procedure is the first diagnostic test and treatment for bladder cancer. Men are almost four times more likely to get this type of cancer than women.
